I help naturopaths and herbalists hold the full complexity of their clients, not just the biochemistry, but the relational and emotional patterns that sit underneath chronic illness. After 25 years of clinical practice, I bring something most mentors cannot; a working integration of three psychodynamic frameworks — the Conversational Model, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Hakomi Somatic Therap, applied directly to naturopathic clinical practice. This is the layer of supervision most practitioners have never had access to.

Most naturopathic training equips you well for biochemistry and physiology. What it doesn’t teach you is how to hold the therapeutic relationship, how to recognise when a client’s resistance is an attachment pattern, when a gut that won’t heal is carrying unresolved emotional load, or when the body itself is communicating what words haven’t reached yet. That’s the gap I work in. Drawing on the Conversational Model’s relational depth, IFS’s understanding of internal parts and protective systems, and Hakomi’s somatic mindfulness approach, I offer a supervisory lens that brings the whole person and the whole consultation into view.

Alongside this, I bring a Master’s in Health Science, 25 years of clinical pattern recognition across naturopathy and herbal medicine, and fluency in functional diagnostics including genetic profiling, microbiome testing, and advanced lab interpretation. The clinical and the relational, held together.

WHO I SUPPORT

  • Practicing naturopaths and/or clinical herbalists seeking to deepen their expertise.
  • Newly qualified naturopaths and/or herbalists looking for guidance in starting and growing a practice.
  • Naturopaths with a strong herbal focus who want to refine their clinical and business skills.

MENTORSHIP OFFERINGS

  • One-on-One Mentorship – Personalised guidance tailored to your needs that includes six sessions of individual clinical supervision, tailored entirely to your practice and your cases. I work with what you bring – a complex client, a functional test result that doesn’t add up, a consultation that left you uncertain. Drawing on naturopathic clinical reasoning, psychodynamic informed relational awareness and functional literacy, we hold the case together and explore what is missing. Investment $900.00 for 6 60 minute sessions.
  • Small Group Sessions – Collaborative learning with up to four participants. A monthly 90-minute cohort for a small group of naturopaths and herbalists (maximum 6 practitioners).
Each session centres on two or three cases brought by participants, explored through an integrative lens; the biochemistry, the therapeutic relationship, and the emotional and relational patterns that sit underneath. This is the supervision most of us never received in training.
    Investment: $280 NZD/month | Commitment: 3-month minimum.
